Welcome to
Casa El Carnicero

Viale Bianca Maria 8, Milan

Casa El Carnicero, inaugurated in Milan in December 2023, is the new format of the El Carnicero Group.

Located in Viale Bianca Maria, just a short walk from the Duomo, the venue is set inside an early-1900s townhouse in full Liberty style.

The interior, welcoming and lively, develops across four floors, each one different from the others.

The menu, with several new features compared to the other El Carnicero venues, satisfies both meat lovers and those looking for something different. A place ready to leave its mark in everyone’s heart.

Atmosphere and Design

Spread across four floors, plus a wine cellar with a private room and a terrace open in spring and summer, Casa El Carnicero is many locations in one. Each room has its own features and atmosphere. Styles merge and separate, skillfully mixed with modern design and lighting-design pieces.

We dined here for dinner and the atmosphere was inviting. However, the menu was average and unappealing. It seemed like a restaurant that couldn’t quite live up to its expectations and that was unfortunately true. We ordered a burger and steak, expecting medium, but they arrived medium-rare. After complaining, we received them overcooked. The burger itself was tasteless, lacking cucumber, tomato or sauce. The bun was dry and hard. The sides were decent but the presentation was poor. The service made us feel like we were taking the complaint personally and didn’t even greet us when we left. We did get a rebate on the invoice for the cooking disaster, but I wouldn’t have charged it overall.

As much as i liked the ambiente i would not recommend the restaurant overall.

Excellent, one of the restaurants I enjoyed most in Milan. We started with the Tapa Vegetariana, a bruschetta enriched with eggplant, zucchini, tomato, and fennel. Next, the Tiradito de Magret de Pato, a thinly sliced duck breast accompanied by a chimichurri sauce. Like the 45-day-aged Rubia Gallega, it was cooked to perfection.

The location is also very beautiful. The only thing that could be improved is perhaps the variety of vegetarian options on the menu.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars, not only for the pleasant atmosphere, but especially for the waiter, who was incredibly professional and knew how to recommend dishes based on our preferences (six people). Unfortunately, the attitude of the lady at the cash register ruined a simple evening with colleagues. Unfortunately, the cash register system wasn't working, and the annoyed lady preferred to redirect her frustration toward us, and I'm very sorry.

The best Argentinian restaurant in Milan.
The best meat, the best service, the best atmosphere and music. Ask for the entraña Argentina, provoleta, panqueque con dulce de leche, empanadas. Everything amazing 🤗

There is a very mice and chic atmosphere, the food is amazing especially the salads and the “entrana argentina”. The sides are okay but not ground breakoing. The music after 10 o’clock becomes a little too disturbing. There are some great waiters however there are some who aren’t as good. The main and only problem taht stood out too much was the wait time for the foods.
